The foundation did not want an event report. It wanted a story that would explain why all of this is done.
We filmed the whole event while staying out of sight and out of the way of the guests. Alongside wide shots of the event, we recorded conversations with the organisers and participants, and these shaped the storyline of the film.
In the edit we kept a documentary tone: no voice-over, only the people speaking in their own words. We cut the film down to four minutes, because that is a length people actually watch to the end, both on social media and at events.
What we did: filming, sound recording, editing, colour grading, sound mixing, story structure.
